Peeling matte black rear AC / USB cover?

Has anyone seen this happen before? My MY is less than a month old. The matte black plastic AC cover is peeling and appears to be piano black underneath!
Gonna have to call my service center to get this replaced!

Nothing scraped it. I saw it was peeling up on its own, all around the edges on the side and bottom. At first, I thought it was a plastic coating from shipping the car, that didn't get taken off during prep. I pulled in it and it just pulled right off.

I'm guessing they are still using old piano black parts and just using a matte plastic vinyl or some other coating. Obviously, this didn't stick on mine completely. I have no issue with my 2 year old model 3, so must be a bad part.

Tesla is replacing it next week via mobile service.
