As of typing there are 11 of my build out in the wild as of about an hour ago, lets be honest, ill be pretty pissed off if I somehow get passed over for whatever the reason.
The folks at my Tesla store were very accommodating about delivery dates and times. Give them a call. I think you stand a pretty good chance of taking delivery over the weekend, as long as your car is on the SC’s property.Just got a text saying they scheduled delivery for Monday at 3PM. That's relatively inconvenient for me, any chance if I call the delivery center that I can get it pushed to this weekend?
I got a vin too. Ordered 8/14 white/black m3p in colorado.Good news, hoping to follow suit before Monday. Assuming the rumor of cars coming in Monday is true it should be a good week for us Colorado folks.
Every time I check this thread, I’m hoping to see a post from you saying you got a VIN.Still no VIN for me. I'm starting to get a little upset now. They sent me a text on Monday saying it would be heading to Reno in "the next few days" so I got my hopes up that I'd be able to take delivery this weekend. Now here it is Friday and I still don’t even have a VIN, not even in the source. I declined an invitation to go to an event with friends this weekend because I thought I'd be picking up the car. Now it looks like that's not going to happen and the tickets for the event are sold out.
Hey everyone
While my communication experience with Tesla hasn't been negative like some others (my SA has been in contact with me frequently since my order), it hasn't actually netted to anything more than knowing the car isn't ready. At this point, checking each day feels a bit like watching the hands on the clock and wondering why time moves so slowly.

My biggest concern at this point is that my lease is up the last week of this month and I'm definitely trying to avoid having to find alternative transportation for an undetermined amount of time. *crosses fingers*

I tried calling the Tempe delivery center. The first attempt was to the new vehicle delivery department but went straight to voicemail and it said the box was full. Second attempt was to sales, no answer and got a recording saying to use the chat feature on the Tesla page. 3rd attempt was the chat feature. Which has been saying "Connecting you with a tesla expert" for about 15min now.Every time I check this thread, I’m hoping to see a post from you saying you got a VIN.
You have been more than patient. It’s time to start shaking a few trees. I’d call up the main number and insist on solid information.
If you were close by, I’d let you take my car for a few hours to make the wait a bit easier to deal with.
Of course I post my rant, reload my Tesla page, and a VIN pops up in the source. Doh!
