Finally got an update from Tesla (via source code) and got my VIN today!!! Beyond stoked to get the M3P. Here's the timeframe I had:

9/6/19 - Pulled the triggered and ordered black on black model 3 performance w/ FSD around 7pm (per online order delivery within 2 weeks)

9/14/19 - Received text saying they expect to make delivery in two weeks and will update me when my delivery appointment is ready to be scheduled.

9/20/19 - Checked source code a VIN showed up this morning!

Eagerly called my delivery specialist and they said they don't except me to actually take delivery (in Atlanta) until 10/2... Didn't actually get to speak w/ my delivery specialist; got routed to a different GA store. Although the person I spoke to was very nice, not really helpful in providing actual information re delivery.

Hopefully it arrives sooner than that but pumped that I finally got a VIN. Nothing updated on the actual account page, though.

Hope everyone gets some good news today, too!

As of typing there are 11 of my build out in the wild as of about an hour ago, lets be honest, ill be pretty pissed off if I somehow get passed over for whatever the reason.

Yeah, definitely leaves a sour taste for something that historically is fun for everyone. People are programmed to be excited about new cars. It’s in our DNA. Like a first date you’re super excited about. When it drags on day by day, it’s pretty rough.

Just got a text saying they scheduled delivery for Monday at 3PM. That's relatively inconvenient for me, any chance if I call the delivery center that I can get it pushed to this weekend?
The folks at my Tesla store were very accommodating about delivery dates and times. Give them a call. I think you stand a pretty good chance of taking delivery over the weekend, as long as your car is on the SC’s property.

Still no VIN for me. I'm starting to get a little upset now. They sent me a text on Monday saying it would be heading to Reno in "the next few days" so I got my hopes up that I'd be able to take delivery this weekend. Now here it is Friday and I still don’t even have a VIN, not even in the source. I declined an invitation to go to an event with friends this weekend because I thought I'd be picking up the car. Now it looks like that's not going to happen and the tickets for the event are sold out.

Every time I check this thread, I’m hoping to see a post from you saying you got a VIN.

You have been more than patient. It’s time to start shaking a few trees. I’d call up the main number and insist on solid information.

If you were close by, I’d let you take my car for a few hours to make the wait a bit easier to deal with.

Returning to my earlier post... still no update here on VIN or est. delivery timeframe other than the mass “2 weeks” text most of us received.

Honestly, I’d love to meet the fulfillment/logistics team after this quarter to buy them all a drink... stressful times in mass-market delivery for Tesla.

Hey everyone :D

While my communication experience with Tesla hasn't been negative like some others (my SA has been in contact with me frequently since my order), it hasn't actually netted to anything more than knowing the car isn't ready. At this point, checking each day feels a bit like watching the hands on the clock and wondering why time moves so slowly.

Order Date: August 12th, 2019
Model: M3P White Exterior & Black Interior w/ FSD
Location: San Francisco, CA

My biggest concern at this point is that my lease is up the last week of this month and I'm definitely trying to avoid having to find alternative transportation for an undetermined amount of time. *crosses fingers*

I tried calling the Tempe delivery center. The first attempt was to the new vehicle delivery department but went straight to voicemail and it said the box was full. Second attempt was to sales, no answer and got a recording saying to use the chat feature on the Tesla page. 3rd attempt was the chat feature. Which has been saying "Connecting you with a tesla expert" for about 15min now.

I've got a couple of friends selling their immaculate GTRs to make room for some exotics in their garage. Every day that goes by buying one of their GTRs or jumping on the bandwagon and buying an exotic gets more and more tempting. Especially since I can't even get into contact with tesla.
