My LR was in an accident 10/16. Took a shot thinking it would be totaled and ordered a new one on 10/16. Ordered performance with FSD. Wait time changed from 2 weeks to 8-10 weeks. Wish Tesla could get me a new car faster. My rental runs out on the 14th. Only thing I have gotten out of Tesla is they could get me a Sleeper Performance tho week. I want the new performance with the grey wheel. Waiting the second time is worse than the first time I ordered. Hope we get some this month.

Was going to wait for my LR AWD order and I got matched to a sleeper in my area from a canceled order. Was told yesterday it was mine, matched to me and no one could take it. We just had to switch the loan and that they’d be in touch after they heard from financing. Silence today. Emailed twice and no response. Trying not to seem too insane. A vin did appear in the source code on my page and I do think it’s a performance. There’s a C in the 8th digit instead of a B. Nothing else has changed yet. Hopefully it all gets sorted tomorrow. It’s only 15 miles away and I want to go pick it up!!!

Truly. Just such a bummer today. I went to bed last night thinking I’d wake up with all the info today and was just ghosted. Hahaha I feel like i went on a great date and didn’t hear anything.

Im ready and anxious to order all my accessories, but also hesitant. Just waiting on any word that something moves along in the order process.
Spoke with someone from corporate prior to ordering as I had some questions that i couldn't find answers to on the website. He said wait times were 7-9 weeks, but my order says 6-8. Im just hoping for delivery sometime before the new year. Is that too wishful?

Be patient? Everyone who's placed an order since early oct is in the same position. At this point, i've just accepted that i wont get the car until December, and that's fine. It allows me to save even more money to put it towards my dp. I'm extremely eager to get, can't wait, but at the same time i have to not give it so much thought cause it drives me crazy haha. So, i just throw the thought to the back of my brain and keep on my day. Hold on tight, the day you pick it up will make you forget all the *sugar* Tesla put you through

I was merely stating how I found it odd that none of the news outlets or YouTubers has mentioned it once. IMO Tesla not delivering to the US at all for the entire first month of the last quarter for the federal tax credit seems like news. They write entire articles based on what Elon has for lunch, and this seems a little more news worthy than another 50 articles about where people have spotted Model Ys.
Or maybe it only seems like news to us because we are the ones waiting.

It’s just not news anymore. This is nothing new, been going on for quite some time, It’s not even unique to Tesla. Look at this thread, it’s almost 200 pages, started almost a year ago. Same with the LR and SR trims.
Not sure if this was just a change in the web site or my wishful thinking, but when I logged into the Tesla web site this morning, there was a new page that wanted me to verify all of the stuff I had entered and then a button to Submit it. I have checked every day since 10/14 and nothing has changed since 10/15, so I was hoping they were verifying to make sure they knew where to send my car
