Performance Waiting Room

After a week of thinking and many youtube videos, I finally changed my order from LR AWD to Performance. If stealths end up on the West coast before I get a VIN, I may snag one of those instead.

Same here... Original order date for me was 10/15. I’ll update when I get a VIN.
The wait is sickening.

Orders aren't being distributed by the date you placed it, it's based more on the trim and location. East to West boys. Sit back and relax, we'll get our cars eventually.

10/23 for me...

I test drove an LR AWD in Sept and still felt the itch... Then in October rented a Perf+ on turo and hadn't ended my rental yet. (rented from 10/12 to 10/19)

Would have saved me a few hundred bucks if I'd ordered earlier...

I was told most likely first week of December for delivery (taking delivery in OC).

Ordered on the same date. As long as i get it before the end of the year for that 1875, im good. Dont want to pay as much at the end of the year.

You should ask and see what they say. More info we get about deliveries the better haha

Yikes man so sorry you have to wait so damn long! I'm an October 3rd order and I have a hard time reading all the other deliveries out there that ordered after us, but it must been even worse for you!

have yet to see any 2020 performances models getting delivered in the US so far..once I start seeing people getting performance VINs ill start to get excited

My sales advisor emailed me today saying Performance production is set to begin on Dec 1st. (I don't have a VIN yet, 10/31 order)
Of course I take everything with a huge grain of salt.

i can confirm what TTT said. I called today to ask about a few things and the SA said production for performance should be done early December with projected delivery (east coast) around Mid December.

So now y’all have two huge grains of salt to discuss, hahaha.

I believe one way more than my SA telling me my car is already in production and wouldn’t deliver till mid December

Well we both ordered way later than you, so your SA might be accurate for your order.

I don’t need the car until late December anyway, so I am in no rush. Spending the time preparing (wall charger install, buying accessories, etc.)

My knowledge is that North American Performance production is starting again next week, and will take 1 week to deliver to east coast.
Preparing for first week of December. But not holding my breath (did finish installing Wall connector. What a pain in the rear it was pulling 4/3 wire through the house!)
