Phone unlocking - slow

Having the same issue. Seems to have only started since the latest Tesla software update. Very annoying to have to wait. The screen inside tells me to use my key card, then in a couple more seconds it unlocks with the phone. It used to be instantaneous as I walked up to the car.

Did the same for me the other day, but as I'd not been anywhere near the car for over a week I assumed it was asleep, I'll have to keep an eye on the situation.

This happened recently to mine and my wife’s iphones on our M3. I’ve noticed in the past that when a phone is connected inside the car there are 2 blue tooth connections, one “Tesla model 3” standard connection and one with a long device name of letters and numbers. The latter of the two is what connects when you approach the car, both of these on our phones weren’t connecting and were missing when approaching the car the other day, so I deleted both phones from the car and reconnected them, problem now solved.
