No modifications were needed. Tires and rims fall completely flush with the fenders. No rubbing at all from full lock to full lock with the steering wheel.

Thanks for sharing this. I may go with similar to this big rim and tire combo. Are those all season or winter tires only. Did you have any speedo problem?
