pillar "delete"

I bought this gloss black vinyl wrap and sat on it for a few days not sure if i really wanted to try "deleting" the pillars.

Last night I tried installing it on the driver side and it took some time to get the edge of the vinyl under the seals.

That looks so good I couldn't even tell what you did initially. Had to look at a stock photo to tell the difference. Nice work, looks like it came that way from the factory.

Most cars that have this 2 tone dont work (except maybe the mini coop) cause the c-pillar inevitably has to split it somewhere awkwardly, but the y really works. Sharp.

I like to imagine a tesla that didnt just embrace minimalism but also some customization like this

Thanks. I figure if it comes out looking like crap I loose out on $20 worth of vinyl. I'll stick with it for a while. didn't tell my wife and she hasn't noticed for a few days now...

I always wanted to do this to my white i3 to give it the i3S look.

That car is gone now but this looks great. I ordered blue so it probably wouldn’t change the look much.

so were you able to remove the upper black trim around the windows? I tried to follow the instruction for the Model 3 but there didn't seem to be any screws under the weather seals...

Did not remove anything. Just jammed it in there while pulling the trim up a little.

Tsportline...they're heavy but back in May of this year they were $2300 for the rim/tire/tpms package so I bought them instead of the Inductions. It was like getting a full winter set of Geminis for $300.

nothing to report really. everything is same as the day i put it on back in July. If it gets bad, I can rip it off and re-do it for $30 worth of vinyl

I have a white MY and looking to do this when I powder coat the uncovered gemini

no idea what the long term effect will be on the white paint underneath. I'm thinking by that time I will attempt to wrap the rest with a different color or something...
