I have an itch I've got to scratch; with today's announcement that Apple has a $1bn plan to join Netflix, HBO et al I thought I'd see if the obvious connection between Tesla owners and that industry could generate any results.

I searched and cannot find an "announcement" that Apple is buying Netflix. I do find a lot of speculation about it. Link?

Apple is joining Netflix, HBO, Amazon and others in creating its own in-house production team.
