Plastic door sill scraped? Anyone know a fix?

I’m trying to figure out how to remove a scuff from the black plastic (sill?) down by the door plate that says “Model 3”. I tried Meguirs all purpose cleaner which usually gets rid of marks like these. Someone scraped it with their white sneaker.

Anyone have any tips or know what the proper name of that part of the vehicle is?

It’s called SILL PLATE IML - DARK SATIN(1504763-00-B) . A new one is $28. I only know this because I have a dent in mine and ordered a new one. My car is a 2018 and mine are silver and not black, not sure if they still make the silver one I need only could find new black one in parts catalog.
