Plastic piece sagging

We were driving down the freeway and sounded like something was flapping and sure enough the plastic half circle above the tire was half way off. It was easy to snap into place but I’m noticing the bottom plastic piece parallel to the ground looks like it’s sagging. Anyone seen this before? I can’t easily push it back into place. This is the front passenger side right behind the tire.

There is a larger gap between the plastics than there should be is what it looks like. Maybe I’ll just keep an eye on it and see if it gets worse.
