You can't warm-up the cabin in the Jaguar while it is parked in the garage. You need to pull it out and let it run for 10 minutes before the heater will work. Or, you have to drive for the first ten minutes without heat. On the other hand, in the Tesla, you can remotely turn-on the heater while in the garage to warm-up the cabin and this can be done using shore power while you're plugged-in. And, even if you don't pre-heat the cabin, the heater works immediately since it is electric. That was one of the features that sold my wife on going electric.
