Please give me a reason to buy Tesla, and thousand excuses for not buying a Jaguar.

You can't warm-up the cabin in the Jaguar while it is parked in the garage. You need to pull it out and let it run for 10 minutes before the heater will work. Or, you have to drive for the first ten minutes without heat. On the other hand, in the Tesla, you can remotely turn-on the heater while in the garage to warm-up the cabin and this can be done using shore power while you're plugged-in. And, even if you don't pre-heat the cabin, the heater works immediately since it is electric. That was one of the features that sold my wife on going electric.

Back to the safety angle, collision safety is obviously an advantage for a family. No one has mentioned the tendency for gasoline ICE vehicles to burst into flames. The rate of ICE vehicle fires is approximately 17 per hour in the US with over 1000 people killed or injured in fires annually. While a Tesla can (very rarely) catch on fire, it is a slow burn process allowing plenty of time to safely exit the vehicle. Also gas station fires also occur not to mention catastrophic fires from fuel delivery trucks/trains which are basically rolling bombs.

It's not troublesome to charge. You just plug it in like your smartphone. It has semi autonomous driving. Awesome acceleration. And some unique features like vertically opening doors. You can get 70D if you want to spend less.
