Possible to turn off passenger face vents?

The auto mode is completely useless because of the air vents blowing directly into your face. My eyes get so dry now that the AC is on in the summer.
'Completely useless'? Maybe for you but I find it works perfectly for me.
I've never seen any controls in my Y that allow me to aim the dash vents. Where are they?

It’s probably depending on the seating position and height. I’ve tried raising the seat higher and it helps. But then I’m in an uncomfortably position. The passenger gets the full blast and having to adjust every time someone changes the seating.

As someone previously mentioned. The Tesla designers are all single.
