I took delivery of my S a few weeks ago, when I gave it a good once over, I noticed that on the hood and surrounding the surface of the paint felt a little sandy. They re-detailed it (just applied some cleaner) and it did seem to help a bit. since then, I brought it to get ceramic coated. When they finished, they told me that it was unusual to see some of the paint color come off during polishing of the hood. They thought it was related to over-spray possibly because the hood has been repainted.
They didn't seem too concerned but thought I should ask here.
