PPF over ultrasonic sensors

Any updates on this? If it cleared, how long did it take? I’m going on 10 days post install and it’s still erroring out… not a big deal around town, but won’t auto lane change on the freeway.

I lived with the error messages for about a month and the messages still persisted. So I had the PPF removed around the sensors and the errors went away.

I have xpel over the front sensors. Works fine except on very hot days.. cause a sensor failure.

Btw you can check if an ultrasonic sensor is working by lightly rubbing your finger back and forth over the sensor. It will feel “sticky” for an instant which is the haptic feedback from the sensor. I learned this from Tesla service call technician.
