Well, I hope my insulation upgrades let my 250 remaining gallons of propane hold out until the ground source heat pump goes in.
Fourth in line with the local geothermal guy. I guess that's good in a way.

Have you looked into Air Source Heat Pumps? Missouri doesn't get that cold...

After the latest delay (March), I did wind up ordering a DIY minisplit system. I hadn't checked air source in a while, was surprised at how much their range improved in the past 15 years.

I haven't been able to find anything on what is behind the reduced propane supply. My goal is to be in position to not care what the propane supply is.

Yeah... GSHPs really don't pencil in most places anymore. What's left running on propane?

Heat is all that's left. Heat pump water heater, Induction range, solar/wind dryer.

I have some redneck engineering ideas that may get me a bit more range from the air source, but that's a topic for another thread.
