Problem with Trak Sport Snowchains

Hi there. New member here from Cardiff, UK. S75D with standard 19" wheels. Sorry if this has been posted before. I have just bought some Maggi Trak Sport 217 snowchains as recommended by Tesla. I tried to fit them today, but none of the fittings fitted over my wheelnuts. Am I being dense here or is there something I am doing wrong? Thanks.

Did you pull the plastic caps off the lug nuts?

They are, but sometmes have plastic caps for aesthetics.

Two thoughts. Did they come with the 21mm sockets? Mine were a tight fit anyway to get seated so I used a rubber mallet at first, then got some gorilla lug nuts which made it easier. They’re more durable as well

Thanks everyone. There were indeed plastic caps on the wheel nuts. Got the snow chains fitted pretty quickly afterwards.
