Protection film on doors

Has anyone done protection film on all your doors? If so, which film did you get and does it help with getting dings? I’m thinking of getting my doors done because in the Bay Area (I’m sure this happens every where) people don’t give a damn. They’ll just open their door wide and don’t care if they hit your car. Please let me know.

I had just the front done and right afterwards I got a rock chip on my rear drivers door.

Yes, I have XPEL self-healing film.
It will not protect against dings but may protect against light touches and swipes.
It will definitely protect the paint against swirls, light scratches and rock chips.
Plus washing the car is much easier.

It depends on the weather, I usually wash it 2-3 times a month. That's just me.
