Picked up my 2019 SR Model S yesterday. Delivery was not smooth and it was a long day. Got there at 12 and noticed immediately the rear driver 21" rim had curb rash. They offered to give me a new rim and a new tire since it had a cut in it. Also, there was white marks all over the hood and car, which appeared to be wax. It was hard for me to decipher what was wax vs a scratch, so they ended up cleaning the car up. This took over 90 minutes. Then, they couldn't find the second set of keys, so they had to duplicate a set which took another 30 minutes. I was there over 30 minutes. I get home and realize they NO LONGER include a 14-50 adapter and none of my 110v outlets would charge. The delivery specialists should have mentioned this to me, especially knowing I was a previous Tesla owner. Luckily my friend had a spare, so I am borrowing his until they have them in stock to order my own.
Putting all that aside, the car drives amazing and definitely feels nicer than my 2015. Seats and interior feel more luxurious, smoother, quieter ride, Bluetooth speaker sounds crisper, USB ports in back, Sentry Mode, Dashcam, SiriusXM, latest software with text messaging integration. I didn't get FSD yet and that has now cost me AP Lane changes and Summon which are two things I used a lot with my 2015. I already curbed one of the 21' twin turbine rims on my narrow driveway and I was planning on getting 19"'s for this very reason.
Tints, Chrome Delete, Ceramic Pro and Xpel on Front going in next week and then eventually, I will get my calipars wrapped in Vinyl yellow for that red-yellow Ferrari look
