Radio silences when I open the door

The radio silences when I open the door, so I can no longer follow an interview or whatever is interesting at that moment, even when just opening the gate or garage door.
On my Bolt, open door volume can be set. How about on the Model 3?

Nope.
Sometimes you have to give a little more time for a reply.

For me, the sound drops by 50% or so. I like it most of the times doing this, but would prefer it to be adjustable/toggled should I want it to be louder.

No. The volume can not be set.

I think you can just manually turn it back up. I don’t think that setting “sticks” for the next time you open the door, but I find it to be an easy-enough workaround for the rare times I want the music playing loudly after I open the door.
