Get the stealth hitch, you won't regret it. Easy install and when you don't have your bike rack on you won't have the ugly receiver poking out

I recently installed a "Stealth Hitches" to my Model 3 and I use the new "QuikRStuff Mach 2" bicycle carrier for two bikes.

I selected the "QuikRStuff" bicycle carrier because it is very light and it can fit folded inside my trunk, under my spare tire, when I am not using it.

The area above the sub-trunk is still available. I measured it to be 32" x 12" x 18" (The cooler is 14 x 11 x 10 and the crate is 16" x 14" x 10").

And I have an extra storage (16" x 14" x 9" ) available between the folded bicycle carrier and the spare tire.

Note: My Spare tire is 62" x 6.5", if you don't have a spare tire, you will have much more room available.
I carry a spare tire because on weekend I go to remote areas where there is often no cellular coverage.

You can install one or two bicycle carriers: The extra length is 11" with one bicycle carrier and 27" with two carriers.

When Folded vertically, the extra length is about 11 inches.
