Rear view camera at top of screen

I have watched a few youtube videos where the rear view camera was at the top of the screen and the map was at the bottom. I cannot figure out how to get my new X into that mode. Can someone give me a clue?

Version 9 software eliminated the ability to put the camera at the top of the screen, long ago. There is a way to get it higher than the bottom, so search the threads. Not something I do, so I don't remember any details.

Bummer. Since the turn-by-turn is in the main console, the map is less important than the back up camera, considering the very limited visibility out the back.

i swear when i used mine yesterday the backup view was on top! maybe after the 10. update it brought it back?

You can fake it by opening the camera, and also the music app (and expanding the music app). The camera will stay above it and get near the top.
