Just picked up my RWD the other day. I noticed that on the driver side of the rear windshield, the seal looks like it’s not wide enough, so there is a opening. You can see the struts. The passenger side is fine. Something service will have to fix?
Congrats! In my case the SA was also very friendly and knowledgeable. He immediately agreed with my decision to not accept the car due to very unseemly uneven frunk gaps. However, he was reluctant in the beginning to let me examine the interior before I signed off for the delivery. It didn't...
Hi Jpz916, as a company who provides services to Tesla dealers in my area, I have the knowledge as to answer.
The reason there is no seal on the rear windshield driver side on your model 3 is precisely that. The strut. Unlike the older model 3s that the trunks are electric.. the new generation model 3 is and the strutt that opens and closes is on the driver side. Hence there is no seal on the driverside.
Thank you,
