Didn't they already propose changes to the bill that would cap the value of vehicles to like 40k or something like that?

Tesla only gets $7500 ev credit from the new bill proposed. Another $4500 is for union facility vehicles only. This new government hate tesla.

Anyone know when this is likely to be active if passed? Assuming it will not be retroactive to earlier 2021 purchases. Would suck to take delivery with a 2021 model and a week later the 2022 is out with a $7500 tax credit. First world problem I know.
