Massive price drop for the Model X! Hope my trade in didn't go down too much, but looks like "only" $120k for a Plaid now. Awesome! My exact config down $21k (?) it looks like!
Post sales support, that I get.
Well sheee-at…..now I DO wish I’d waited, sigh…Massive price drop for the Model X! Hope my trade in didn't go down too much, but looks like "only" $120k for a Plaid now. Awesome! My exact config down $21k (?) it looks like!
I’m still amazed Tesla was able to get my PF377 LR order shipped across the country to PA and hand it over on the last day of 2022 . Got a call on 30th evening telling me the car just arrived at the SC.VIN just assigned. PF377. EDD was Jan 13 - Feb 11th, now Jan 11 - Jan 19. B/W, 7 seater, 22 wheels. Order date Jan 2022.
Why? You will get the lowered price automaticall.Sure glad I cancelled my order Yesterday

A serious price cut must be imminent.
Note that the plaid is now only $3,500 more than the LR if you want the 6-seat configuration (which is included in the plaid but is +$6,500 in the LR).Here is the most recent price drop as well as the previous increases

Haha, I don't know if they'll be doing more price cuts on the S/X. They are shipping those overseas now, plenty of demand there they can capitalize on.called the price cut but 9% isn’t enough — I anticipate a further 10-20% in the weeks and months ahead.
2021/06When did you order? What configuration? How did they inform you?
I would strongly consider just subscribing to FSD then. You would take home 15k more and you're not tied down to the car.I just got an updated order agreement. Price reduction in car reflected with applied increased FSD price of 15k. Net down 2k
I have been thinking of that too. Makes a lot more sense since there I am no longer gettting 'savings ' from buying outrightI would strongly consider just subscribing to FSD then. You would take home 15k more and you're not tied down to the car.
There is literally no difference (at this time) between subscribing and buying FSD. You get the same product at the same time. As the price of fsd goes up more and more people will subscribe. We got an MX Plaid in September 2022 before that price increase of fsd so we paid the 12k. But at 15k I wouldn't do it. Another option is buying EAP and paying for the cheaper FSD subscription. Get more money back and still get a nice feature.I have been thinking of that too. Makes a lot more sense since there I am no longer gettting 'savings ' from buying outright
