Regen availability

Occasionally I will get the message that Regen is either not available or availability is reduced with SOC below 70% with the temperature in the 40s or 50s. The small print below this message says to drive the car and it will become available. Have I missed a discussion on this? Has anyone seen this message?

Turning on climate on your phone app prior to driving will warm up the battery.

Thanks but sometimes it happens long after having done that at home but after I’ve stopped for lunch or to visit a friend. The only thing I can think of is the half hour or 45 minutes is enough to cool off the battery so that this feature kicks in.
