Regen Breaking Loss Mid Drive

Hello my fellow Tesla owners,

Have any of you noticed regen breaking being reduced mid drive? Anyone know why that occurs? Model Y is new, got last week...

Do you charge to 100% or park near the top of a hill?

The only reason I know it stops doing regen is if there is no battery capacity.

Besides 100% charge doesn't lots of wheel spin/slip also lower regen for snow mode? Thought snow mode was automatic so if your wheels spin it kicks in for like 20 minutes or so before going back to normal. So I guess if you are on a gravel road or something slippery it may do that. Or if you have a cold battery and the dots come back on the left hand side of the screen regen is reduced. I get that now in the winter everything is fine in the warm garage but then going out without aggressive driving the dots start to creep up and regen is reduced.

I charge to around 85% and was coming back from Tahoe so makes sense. Appreciate the feedback @OliverM3 and @Ogre !

Im noticing that regen is less effective compared to how it was on my model Y. I literally need to use the break so much at the moment. This is at all degrees of charge.

Yes, I've noticed the same thing....feels like a bug in the latest update.
