Regenerative braking in Autopilot?

The practical difference is that if you are not using AP, you will probably do a better job of anticipating slow downs, and therefore spend more time in regen and less actually braking. I can't help but worry that overall efficiency is decreased using AP due to this, and also its rapid acceleration.

Thanks! Got the car 5th of December, so currently efficiency really sucks! But I have a lot of fun with it!

Noticed the regen braking while on ap
Also battery temperature effects the amount of regen (and acceleration). You will see the solid line turns to dashes at the end. The more dashes (colder) the less regen available. Once regen reaches the dash point it must use friction brakes to decelerate any more. This is relatively the same in AP or if you are driving.
