Like the previous reply suggested, it depends on which software build you have now. You’ll get whichever FSD version is included in that build. According to TeslaFi, the 2023.44.30.30 and 2024.3.x builds have FSD v12, the others have v11.

For that reason, if you already have EAP rather than basic AP, you won't get much benefit from FSD on your road trip from FL to MA (a trip I've made many times). I did subscribe to FSD for my last road trip, but mainly to eliminate the Autosteer "speed limit + 5mph" restriction on rural highways.
