Replika r241 Space Grey / Gunmetal Touchup Paint?

Anyone know what colour / brand touch-up paint to match the Replika R241 Space Grey / Gunmetal rims?

Don't bother with the paint, simply order a rim protector to cover it up.

I didn't hit the curb in the below picture, just an example showing the tire shop ruined by metal protector when mounting the tires, I had these metal protector on my other cars as well, it can take serious curb scratch.

Did anyone find a paint color that matches? I know a guy that just curbed a wheel

$100 fix by any wheel repair shop or traveling repair truck. You won’t notice the repair from 1’ away from the car.

Have a body shop match the wheel color and get a couple rattle cans. With a little dremmel smoothing and blending practice you can do it yourself, I do.

Resurrecting an old thread…anyone found the color code for this or a paint already available?

FWIW, and it really isn't worth anything, I contacted the manufacturer to ask about the color. Here is the reply:

"Unfortunately, we do not have the CMYK or RGB color codes and we do not sell touch up paint. The actual color code is something that could be determined by scanning the wheel at an alloy wheel repair shop.

We recommend the brand Dupli-Color for DIY touch up paint. It is readily available at many stores. Some of our customers have had very good results mixing their own color match and testing it bit by bit."

Not helpful to me as I am not an artist and I would not have much luck trying to match the color on my own. It also isn't helpful to take a rim to a wheel repair shop as that defeats the DIY aspect of the thread. If anyone does mix a color that comes close, though, please share.

Scanned the wheel and got this. Almost perfect, the only difference is in the finish, but using a satin makes it better. Planning to have them lightly polished at the end to make it blend.

Based on @kirkusss' post above I purchased VW LD7S Alpine Gray Metallic paint from Amazon (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B098R8YFM2). I touched up my rims today and found it to be just as @kirkusss describes. It's not a perfect match but it is close enough for me. Much easier than trying to match the paint myself. You really have to be looking for it in order to see the difference. Thanks a ton.
