Seems like a risky move, especially considering the cost of shipping and the possible cost of modification to get the car to match local standards. I think you can get the car serviced, but there are no warranty repairs, so if something big goes out you'll have to foot the entire bill to get it fixed, regardless of the warranty period.

Navigation will also be a problem.. One lady said they were able to attach a wifi hot spot to the car so that it had internet, but navigation is inoperative. They confirmed with Tesla that there's no way for it to work. You can see and search places, but the car will not navigate to them, hence navigate on autopilot is also inop.
