No proof, this is just my guess . Tesla won’t quite hit 20k but could get close. They used to make 18k s & x cars before the refresh.

None of the delivery times are fun for anyone. , however I see a lot of people who ordered later in 2021 getting upset of delayed delivery times. Likely many of those people could get their cars next quarter, which to me is fair as Tesla still needs to clear out early 2021 orders.

I hope you're right but watching the factory flyover videos and judging by all of last years quarterly delivery numbers with zero traction gained in additional deliveries from Q1, Q2, Q3, Q4 I am still thinking it is a very slow drip out of the factory and now with X being mixed in I think we're lucky to hit 15K combined which is 7500 S deliveries which is less than the first three quarters of last year so if my theory is correct that means even less S cars are being delivered in 2022

I am curious on our small list we have going here to add the colors. MSM Vin's seem to be flowing this past week.

Just to close out my part of this thread I did get my car today!

A few small things they need to fix but the car seems great based on the 17 miles i drove so far!
One word of warning - if you happen to have ordered before the refresh announce they offered a 2k discount on the 10k price increase (from the old s to the refresh s) that they are now telling me has expired as of 12/31/2021. Completely ridiculous as i never changed my config, refused delivery, or anything. they just never delivered my car.

Good luck to everyone left in this situation! While we have all read that eventually a car will be delivered I can attest that eventually it seems to be true

Congrats and that is for sure not cool on the discount. Hopefully someday I can close out of this madness too.
