Looper Set Photos Reveal Futuristic Vehicles |

A quick search reveals a lot of EVs (e.g. Zap, Smart) or gas cars made to look like dystopian future converted to be EVs (with some solar panels to boot) on the set.

Looks like they are using a Zap Alias in there too.

From the reviews, it looks like it might be a cool flick! Comparing it to "Moon" is a good thing. If it doesn't open until September, some of us will have our new Model S before we get to see it.

Logo on the back looks rather "Aston Martin" like....although many car and bike manufacturers have used wings.

Bumping this up ... I just saw this movie, and it's great. But for a hardcore EV nut like me, it was quite distracting seeing all the EVs in the scenery.

    From memory:
Tesla Roadster - in quick shot of road scene, nobody drives it
Zap - parked in background of several scenes
Sparrow - driving down road in at least one shot
NEVs - several appear, including prominently in the climactic final scene

That's all I noticed but there were likely more. I kept laughing out loud (inappropriately) in the theater :)

Saw the movie opening weekend. It was good... went darker in parts than I was expecting. The way they dealt with time travel wasn't what I'd consider hard sci-fi, but it was quite fun anyhow.
