Safety Score version 1 vs version 1.2

I recently had to re-enroll into beta Q and new SS after cameras upgraded and recalibration and noticed I have SS version 1 (172 AP miles, SS 98). I don't remember which SS version I had before. What determines which version, SS 1 or SS 1.2, one should be in? Do you go from SS1 first before you can get SS1.2 and how? More importantly, does it increase your chance to get FSDb for being in SS1.2 instead of SS1? Thank you
