I just installed the Samsung T7 500 GB USB 3.2 GEN2 SSD with a write speed of 1000 MBps. I had tried the SanDisk 256 GB high endurance microSDXC card and the Samsung Pro Endurance 128GB microSDXC card but never could get either to work consistently. With the T7 I just plugged it in directly out the box, hit the Format tab on the Tesla car screen, and Bob's your first cousin's brother-in-law. Works perfectly. And the videos are now very good quality. Since my Dashcam/Sentry mode had not worked since last fall, many software updates ago, I do not know if the improved video quality is updated camera software of the write speed of the SSD. Either way, it's all cool now. In my experience, the microSDXC cards suck for this application.
