Scam Tesla sale?

Hey everyone, I was looking at a P85D on craiglist, and this one is only 33k. Should I proceed with caution or assume its a total scam? It has 20k miles and Autopilot, and the pictures are pretty fishy

These are all over CL. The giveaway is the low price and no VIN. If you try to contact them they will not respond for several days, then send you a message saying something is not working with CL and ask you for your email address. The story is a job change or death in the family requiring a quick sale. 100% scam.

it is the 12 cylinder model ... seems unlikely that this car would go for less than half of what it is worth...

If it is too good to be true it probably isnt

If using chrome browser a quick test is also to right-mouse-click on the picture and "search for image". If the Google image search results include lots of other exact same image on lots of websites it's not likily the CL ad authors car.

No offense, but there is always someone taking these scam artists up on their opportunitist deals every minute - we all hope for a too good of a deal to be true. I see it all the time with family members and people imagining someone would sell some object for 1/3 or 1/2 of going price. No one gives away a product less than it's value, well maybe Bill Gates or Warren buffet (when you have Billions) to charity.

These are all scams. If something is too good to be true, it is, everyone should do their post to click the report spam/prohibited button on their listings so it can be removed.
