Scheduled Departure charges too early

Ok folks, please look at the attached screen shot. Scheduled Departure is for 8:15 am, now, approximately 8:15pm. So, we still have 12 hrs to departure. Remaining time to charge is 7hrs.
Question: why is it charging now to finish 5hrs early???
(No, I didn't click "charge now")

What software version is your Tesla Model Y running? I would start by turning off Scheduled Departure. Try setting Scheduled Departure using the Tesla app on your phone.

Scheduled Departure is location specific. Do you have your Tesla vehicle's Home location set in the Navigation system?

Yes, the home is properly set. It activates Homelink.

Do you have a time set for when off-peak ends? I have scheduled departure set to 8am myself, but because my off-peak ends at 6am charging will calculate to finish at approximately 545am. Now, that’s still too early for your charging to begin at 815pm, unless your off-peak end time is possibly set for something like 4am.

I had to lower the amps to extend the charging time.

Yes, off peak is 2pm.
