scratch on roof glass panel

Hey guys. Need your thoughts. Went to pick up my 3 last night. Noticed a couple of things.

1. Above the passenger side is a minor scratch (maybe 6-7 mm) on the glass roof towards the edge. I posted a stock picture and outlined (in red) where it would be on my car. The delivery advisor wasn't sure if I should go home with the car - initially the girl doing the walkthrough said if I take it tonight then I pay for any repairs. I texted him today and he said that they can replace the front roof glass when the part comes in and I can pick up the car in the meantime.

2. Is there a minimal lip when you go from roof to windshield or is it completely flush? For those that already picked up.

I didn't see any other issues. Paint was good! Is it even worth replacing the glass? Is there a safety issue from the scratch? Would you care?

If it’s just a minor surface scratch I wouldn’t be too concerned about it. However; I’d make sure it was documented and if it turned into a crack down the road of course they’d have to replace it. Was the lady doing the walkthrough totally dense? Why would you have to pay for repairs if you took the car the way it was?

Yes that threw me off. I'm glad the delivery experience specialist came and inspected it. It was his call to not deliver and wait till today.
