Second time this has happened to us and it's extremely annoying...sometimes the technology "overkill" creates such a nuisance.
1. Wife & I got into car using usual BT method with my phone
2. I got out of the car to talk to someone a few feet from car and so it likely locked
3. Wife opened the door and alarm went off (scared all 200+ people that were in the vicinity for an event)
4. Tried going back to car with phone to disarm it - no luck.
5. Tried opening Tesla app on phone - no luck.
6. Took keycard out and placed it in center console drive position - no luck.
7. Tapped keycard all over pillar - no luck.
8. Eventually, tapping on the pillar did work, but only after 5 minutes of annoying alarm/death music.
What is the proper/fastest way to shut off the alarm?
I would like to disable the alarm completely, but the menu item seem unchangeable...hmmm...
Thank you!
