The concern is latency issues for dashcam recording in real-time while the flash has to serve up music, so there is going to be continuous and simultaneous read and writes. Obviously, I would not want any sort of missed frames on the dashcam.
Sentry mode should be a non-issue because I would not be in the car.
I am currently using a USB hub in the glovebox. Sentry and dash work fine, but the 60+ GBs worth of music on a sperate flash takes a long time to mount after the car has been sleeping. I wonder if the hub is the issue, which is why I am asking about a single stick solution.

Edit: I am using fast flash, 400+Mb read, 100+Mb write, USB 3.1 so that should not be a bottleneck. I also have available a USB 3.2 that reads/writes at 600+Mb/s, but do not know Tesla's capabilities.
