Sentry Mode Video Issues

Are 2018 MXs capable of recording Sentry mode videos? I plugged in a USB but nothing was recorded. There is some kind of formatting that needs to be done, which I am unable to do so.

Can someone please post for non-tech savvy people on how to format the USB?

Month? I think until mid 2018 they may have had AP2 so might not be able to record your videos.

2018 should be AP2.5 - Before mid-july 2017 are AP2.0.

You have to create a folder name “TeslaCam” on your USB. Try that first.

If you're on Windows, download this utility to format: Ridgecrop Consultants Ltd

Bayx Find the drive on your computer and right click your mouse. The menu should show "format". Look for Fat32 and click format.

Right click again and "Add Folder". rename the new folder exactly "TeslaCam" capital T and C.

easy once you do it one time.

has anyone had issues where after the new update my micro sd card isn't recording any videos while the car is in motion.
