Sentry Mode: what happens with bluetooth issues?

So it is fairly common for me to walk up to the car and have to try a few times to unlock as my bluetooth likes to be finicky.

How does that interact with sentry mode? Will the alarm go off if I try to open the door if the bluetooth isnt happy yet?

You’ll get the red eye staring at you from the touchscreen but that’s about it. As long as you don’t decide to open your door by smashing the window first you should be fine. Do you not have the 2019.5.x update yet?
