The actual quote doesn't say anything about Sentry - question and answer both refer to TeslaCam, which could be the dashcam while driving, Sentry, or both.
From that I'd expect to see it in the driving data, but not necessarily in Sentry.
Honestly, the front side gaps between the medium forward camera and the fender cameras bother me more with Sentry mode - we might be better off with the fisheye recording instead of the medium camera.
??? The the front cameras are a telephoto, a normal, and an ultrawide.
The current Sentry videos are from the normal camera - which means there's a gap in coverage for the three they show us that's the arc of the B-pillar cameras.
As many have said, first Tesla ought to make incidents viewable on its own touch screen. That should come first. It’s a PIA trying to view the files on one’s phone or computer. And another innovation would be show what the cameras see on the touchscreen as well.
honestly, I would just love a chime when trying to back up if there is a person or another vehicle close by. Most every new car has this safety feature built in.
