Service Center Experience (12V, Control Arm, UMC)

At 44K miles, I wanted to get the creaky upper control arm fixed before the warranty expired. The service center is four hours away.

Upper Control Arm

They replaced the passenger side control arm and didn't mind that I'd injected grease as a stopgap measure. They sealed the driver side arm.

12V Battery

I decided to preemptively replace the 12V battery. I almost did it myself but chose to have them do it. The pre-visit invoice had a charge for this, but they replaced it for free. I don't know if they tested it and found it in poor condition or there was some mixup. I'd never had an indication that it was going bad. Moral: If the car is still under warranty, consider having the SC do the replacing.

UMC

Twice I'd had the "red T" error on the mobile connector. They checked it, found a fault, and replaced it under warranty.

Cabin Air Filter

They replaced it. Cost $70.

Service Experience

Everything went smoothly except that communication via the app messaging is a little klunky.
