Significant Service opportunity, who can we contact? Extremely frustrating.

Good Afternoon,
I’m trying to be patient with the service levels I get at Tesla, it is becoming extremely frustrating. First I had an appointment to fix my headliner and my door handle puddle light didn’t work.

I have several issues I’m hoping someone can tell me who I can contact to help.

1. I took the car in they told me it would take an hour or 2 so I waited, it took 6 hours and every hour they came back and said it’s almost done. Even when it was done they determined they couldn’t fix the headliner they had to order one. I couldn’t wait to leave so I didn’t look at the door handle. When I got home my son told me the door handle was all scratched up. It blows my mind that I spent over $100K on a car and they thought this was OK, it would blow my mind if it was a $10K car.

2. Next we made an appointment for the headliner and I added the door handle opportunity. I asked multiple questions through text and I got no responses. I tried calling the dealer and No on ever answered, the line kept telling me to use the text, the same one I received no response too for weeks at a time.

3. Yesterday I took the car in to get the headliner and door handle replaced, they said it would take several days. Then I got an email saying it was ready and they would leave it out front for after hours pickup, they said my key would be in the frunk. It was too late for me to pickup (it’s an hour away) so I went this morning. Now the hood has a dent and deep scratches in it. I approached them and they said they didn’t notice that last night when they put it outside. Obviously they dropped something on it. I am usually very calm, but when they started to say they didn’t do it I had a hard time staying calm. They said “We would never do that and not own up to it”. My response was “how about my door handle that is all scratched up, you didn’t own up to that?”.

Bottom line is they are now fixing it, but obviously this will take paint work. More importantly this is unacceptable service and every number I call tells me to use the App. I don’t want to give up on Tesla, we own 2 and love them, but if this continues I’m not sticking with this brand. I’ve ready all the nightmares and assumed it’s a minority of folks, it may be a minority, but now I am part of that minority and it feels awful. These things don’t usually bother me IF they own up to it and take care of it, both times they didn’t that is what bothers me most.

Any thoughts or guidance would be appreciated.

Great point I will try to change the heading. It is definitely Service Issues.

You wont be able to change it, but if you want it changed you can report your first post and ask a mod for this subforum to change it. I dont have rights to this subforum so I cant change it for you. TMC is large, and mod duties are split amongst multiple people, by subforum.

Side note, I hope you get the issues you are having resolved to your satisfaction. I dont have any contacts (im a regular person, not affiliated with tesla in any way, and a volunteer here like most moderators are).
