This looks cool, is it worth the $9.99 for the Remote S App? I was just thinking if the doors don’t unlocked via the phone key I could just tell Siri to “unlock my doors” it should be faster then opening the Tesla app...

Nah not worth it. You can do the following already with the Tesla app:

• Hey siri what is my cars state of charge?
• Hey siri What's left in my car's battery?
• Hey Siri, Do I need to charge my car?
• Hey siri activate my cars audible signals
• Hey siri lock my car
• Hey siri is my car locked?
• Hey siri unlock my car
• Hey siri wheres my car?

I personally wouldn't do summon with Siri, you never you know if there's going to be delay/latency, definitely don't want to risk my car.

I’m fairly certain this functionality has been in there for quite some time actually.

The only thing that would be nice from this app is the option to open the Frunk with Siri.
The app takes to long to open and activate.
It would be nice, but maybe not worth the money for one feature.

So you can tell Siri to unlock the car doors with only the Tesla app but it does not have a trunk/frunk option?

So, has anyone noticed that the Siri controls aren't working anymore or is it just me? I tried them all out yesterday and they worked, not today, Siri says I have to open the Tesla app to complete the request.

I noticed that. I never tried it before though, so I assumed I was doing something wrong.

If I ask Siri to tell me if my car is locked it asks me to choose which app to use, the Tesla app or Remote S. If I choose the Tesla app it says I have to open the app and it doesn’t actually do anything for me, if I choose remote S then it tells me the answer to my question.

Shortcuts make Remote S even more useful. I have a button or phrase I can use to turn on the climate, calculate my driving time, and send a text with my ETA.

Has anyone figured this out? I am surprised there is so little discussion about it on the forums. Seems like a significant feature just stopped working.

Broken for me as well, and I get the feeling that it's not at the top of Tesla's priorities to fix it. I got Remote S and it works flawlessly. Also cool that it works with the Apple Watch.
