I'm getting ready to do the mod myself. Where did you mount the antenna? The consensus seems to be @dude7's 3D-printed holder under the rear brake light. I do not have access to a 3D printer, however. Any consensus thoughts on placement without a mount?

Didn't need a mount for mine, just tucked it into place. Not a single dropout underneath the rear glass.

I tucked it under the glass by the FM radio connection. I may go with the 3d printed mount, just need to get my hands on a 3d printer temporarily. But for now that antenna location works for me.
