@RogueDriver

You could remove or disconnect the antenna. But read this first:

And yet again we find ourselves debating another video from the same person none the less. I got a feeling someone got their posts deleted or made invisible on that channel for allegedly making it personal and feel that they can have their saying here, have their cake and eat it 🤷‍♂️

And here is another deleted post from the archives. bravo 👏

Thats it then... you do the deed, and blame me. That is so classic and to top it off accuse me of making it personal. You get scrutinised the same as every one else but if that is the card you want to play, Ill take it as the final piece of your argument hence no further comment required

Thank you for clarifying you have no idea what you’re talking about. And the guy in the video does a horrible job of explaining the HVAC system - regardless of his rather extensive credentials.

You can’t magically take or split heat and cold from air - a heat pump does not take heat from the cold air. We use a refrigerant under pressure, an exhaust and a pump (or multiple). And yes, the system is generally called and “air conditioner” because you know, it conditions the air - HV-AC - Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning.

Everyone knows what a heater core and heat exchange is and the terminology I used is so others can understand what the meaning is (heating), as opposed to just trying to look smart.

Introducing a low power mode will increase the range.

Using the hot air from outside instead of activating an additional pump will increase range.

Please, don’t ever reply to my posts again. I don’t have the time to talk to children.

Sam T, what an inconsiderate and rude post. In a nice way I liked to explain but I regret now even responding and adding to the thread. Good luck with your quest towards “eco mode”. For everyday you drive your Tesla and don’t have your requested feature, think of this thread and what the “children” of the world were saying and providing informative heat pump posts.

What does the free/included version of AP do other than follow lanes and auto-adjust speed to the car in front? Literally almost every car does that now. My wife’s 2021 Kia Telluride does it.

Full Self Driving, aside from being heinously expensive, is still very, very beta. I hated using it when I had it on trial recently. It made so many dumb decisions, even in relatively easy highway driving conditions.

Don’t get me wrong, I’m really glad someone’s working on the more advanced versions of this stuff, but Tesla’s included “AutoPilot” is no longer ahead of anything. It’s middling at best.
YAWN. Hahahah a eff’ing Kia. I’m weak. 💀😂

(Free) driver+ is restricted to ONLY mapped highways. Can’t adapt to construction.

AP will do city streets, highways, construction zones, national parks (makes yellowstone/petrified forest way more interesting for the driver)

Aside from that, I ain’t reading all that word vomit.

You really are coming off as a fanboy who can’t have a legitimate conversation. I’m not arguing with you about Rivian’s system, I have never tried it. It might be totally useless. But Tesla’s doesn’t really work any better than most other systems in places like construction zones, that’s my point. Off the shelf AP in Tesla today is in practical terms not going to offer better functionality than anything you get in a run of the mill Ford, Kia, Honda, etc. You’re acting like it’s this crazy competitive advantage, and it was like 8 years go, but not anymore.

I’ve owned or driven extensively most of the other carmakers’ driving aid systems from the past ~4ish years, and Tesla isn’t anything special at this point. Hyundai/Kia is among the best, better than the Acura or BMW we used to have. I think the only one I haven’t tried relatively recently is GM.

If you are convinced it’s so superior, I guess we’ll agree to disagree.

That’s a whole lotta words for “Blahblahblah yer a fanboi.. waaahhhhhh”

You couldn’t be further from the truth. I just can’t see things from your point of view, partially because I can’t bring myself low enough to let you beat me with your experience. 😂

I’m avoiding your “4yr” measuring contest, because it may hurt your feelings. Aside from that, enjoy your weekend duder. 🤷🏿‍♂️

I don’t know if we are friends or business partners. The kids at John’s Incredible Pizza asked if that was my partner because they saw both of us winning jackpots. We probably hang out because we both have the same goal of winning arcade tickets at a profit and this is a very niche thing I think most people only go to the arcade for fun and don’t expect to win big to the same extent as the lottery or casino.

He just has a huge disagreement with Tesla and autopilot and the people who drive them including me. And talks smack on Elon Musk like make the Tesla better why can’t the Tesla charge faster etc.

He likes nostalgic stuff like the old Chuck E. Cheese’s and wishes they stop remodeling their stores to be modern. And Tesla is probably in a sense taking away nostalgia of a traditional car that takes gas, has no autopilot, and no GPS. He wishes no car has autopilot he wants everyone to work for their driving miles.

Mark Rober invented an autopilot version of an arcade advantage player which is kind of cool. I think my friend feels cheated by autopilot like he wants people to work for stuff and not rely on robots.

But then robots probably built his Honda civic, he need to buy a Bentley or Mercedes AMG to prove he doesn’t want a robot to be part of society. I almost think he is racist to robotics and automation because he knows if robots were allowed at the arcade they probably could win more tickets and PS5s.
You both hang out at the Chuck E Cheese hoping to win big and drive home in a Civic. Now some of your posts are starting to make sense……

Not counting how the rep spoke with you.

I’ve not had a co-signer since I was in school, pretty sure a co-signer has to be present for any loan.

Beyond that, both my wife and I are on the registration, she is not on the loan. Both of us had to be present at delivery.
Well lucky you!!! Unfortunately not all of us are fortunate like u. U don’t know my situation. U should be grateful not saying something irrelevant that does nothing but make u feel better to make someone feel bad. Duche bag. U can keep ur comment and miss this post. 🖕🏼🫵🏼

Talking about center horn update here. Your opinion was Tesla will never change it and those complaining about it were wrong and needed to get over it. So odd that you ended up being wrong there. Apparently it wasn't that clear. Equally odd they brought it back for the Cybertruck, Model 3, Model S, Model X and assume Model Y soon too.
I'm sure there are countless articles there talking about the controversial round steering wheel and turn signal stalks. I assume there is balance here and plenty of complaints before 2020 on the traditional set up. Just having a hard time finding them for some strange reason.
Please PM me your issues or ignore my opinions or consider ignore! Getting banned for not bending a knee based on an opinion is like arguing with my grandchild.

Did we forget about the F150/Tundra wraps on the preRC CTs?

Question: is it tiring being sad/mad/hurt over what vehicles are manufactured? Or is it thinking that concept cars are supposed to 100% match released vehicles? Genuinely curious.

Again, this is our celebration thread……

The Fan Bois and their fantasies went poof and we are celebrating. They keep coming back trying to justify shortcomings…. Its entertaining….

Nothing against the car, we already knew it was all Hype

I’m not defending anything. I find it entertaining the asked questions couldn’t be addressed.

Seems this thread is against many forum rules, turned into bashing other forum members and painting with broad brush strokes.

I think there has only been one member bashing other members, other than that people are just posting hilarious videos or post from other forums regarding the greatest truck of all time. This thread usually dies off until one of the Fan Boise puts on a cape and tries to defend it......smh

Both graphs literally show torque at the wheels. Wheel torque is exactly proportional to motive force on the vehicle. The graphs exactly support my claim.

If shifting gears allowed an ICE vehicle to maintain constant motive force as speed increased, then it would accelerate several times faster than an M3P at triple-digit speeds, which is not the case.
Seems you have trouble reading text in addition to not being able to read graphs.

The first chart you show is a plot of both power and torque. Power is dropping quickly after its peak at a relatively low speed. Torque is therefore falling even quicker than it would with a flat power curve.

Your second curve shows an ideal torque plot along with what an ICE car maintains via gears. What said gears allow the ICE to do is maintain near constant *power* instead of falling off like most EVs including the model 3

No one said anything about constant torque other than you.
