What an awesome Birthday Gift! At time when I was choosing my options and placing my deposit on the website, the website stated June. Later that day when I received my VIN# the website (My Tesla) changed to July-Early August. Orlando is my Service Center. Palm Bay is kinda in a dead zone for Tesla Service Center and Chargers.

I heard from my SC this afternoon. They stated my order will go into production on 6/20 and delivery of a 2 week window of 7/18. That being said, I have a total of 6 weeks (1+ or 1- week) from my confirmed order date of 6/3. Let the sleepless nights continue and the constant scanning for any new articles about Tesla. We waited 2 months from confirmation to delivery and it was the longest of our lives. But it really is worth it.

I just did the factory tour yesterday and wow, there were a LOT of cars. I got there about an hour early and while I was busy taking pics in the parking lot they brought out over a dozen that were scheduled to be picked up at the factory that day. A whole different batch was outside an hour later when I exited. It was a concert of cars coming outside. Such a beautiful sight.

And that was just for local pickup. Maybe because I live in the NE, but I had never seen so many Teslas. The amount on the line was so impressive. It is true it's 2000 a week - so hopefully you'll be up next.

I traded in my 2013 S85 for a 2016 90D so I've gone thru this Twice! The second time I ordered and confirmed and then went on vacation. Tesla then started calling me, to find out when I would be home so they could get it to me. Then I just could not get home fast enough! 2 days later it was in my driveway!

I actually emailed by DS Monday some generic questions, he didn't respond, emailed him wed no response and then today he responded with a looks like your car will be here before the end of the month. Great ! if it slips a few days, i go on vacation on the 1st. That will be the absolute worse if it comes in on the 1st or 2nd

You can see hundreds of others experiences.
I confirmed 4/16 and nothing happened for a long time. 5/21 production started, 6/7 I had the car.
But you might not wait at all for production to start. It is based on how to get those cars to people in the most cost effective way.
Maybe they want to do a week of 90's, or three days of black cars, only Elon knows what is going on.
