So many Plaids

Not a terribly deep observation, but here in my location in the Cincinnati/Dayton region of southwest Ohio, there are 12 Model S's deliverable, and 11 of them are Plaids. Wow. 12 deliverable is slightly higher than historical average, but 11 of 12 as Plaid is astonishing. Most of the last year there have be zero - 2 Plaids deliverable.

Not surprising with the drop of prices. It used to be 150k car now it’s 90k. Plaid is as much as you would pay for long range s 2 months ago.

This is a pretty typical quarterly sales strategy.

At the beginning of the quarter you want your expensive models available in inventory to entice the impulse buyers to level up.

As the quarter grinds on and you get more desperate to hit your numbers, increase the discounts and availability of lower spec'd models.

Rinse and repeat. This is the Tesla way.

Yeah just waiting for those end of quarter price drops on the Plaids...I'm not surprised there are a ton of deliveries now with such a low price.
